dean martin makes me happy to be alive. elvis and sinatra looked up to him. watch how cool he is...and take note, all of his performances from his variety show were captured with an overhead boom mic. that's real singing. every phrase and gesture rolls off with ease. some lady once told me that dean martin was just ok, saying alot of his performances were "mailed in". i had to disagree with her. i think she was underestimating his talent. he was so good that it all seemed effortless. the guy had class, look at his beaming smile and check out how he let's loose at the end. suddenly i'm saddened by the lack of performers like this today, but then again, dean martin is a legend, perfectly immortalized by all of his recordings and countless tv and movie appearances. there are so many performances to choose from that it was hard to pick just one. i've spent hours watching him sing. i picked "ole man river" because it swings. forget xanax, take dean martin.
Hey pallie, dude I couldn't agree with you more...never was, never will be anyone as cool as the King of Cool. Dino is the quintessential performer of all times and for all ages. Oh, to return to the days when Dino walked the earth. Thanks so much for sharin' some Dinolove!!!!

Hey pallie, Wow. It's so great to see someone else give the proper respect due to Dean Martin. Dino will always be the King of Cool. I think so many people underrated him, but Dino's a great all around entertainer. He's the epitome of cool. Dino has more cool and talent in his pinky finger than many cats have in their whole bodies. Thanks for sharing this with us.
